aarakshan.. for last 60 years and before independence for thousands of years..

Do u all know who were the first people who got reservation in this country... History says it is the people who are opposing it now tooth and nail... It was the so called elite classes of Pune that asked for reservation in govt jobs during british period.. It was the so called elite classes which enjoyed reservation to enter temples, to get water from the village well, to read vedas and get education.. arjuna got reservation to study in dronacharya's public school etc etc.. the list goes on... If the so called intellectuals cant bear reservation for just over 64 to 65 years just imagine How the deprived guys would have borne the humiliation for thousands of years...pl treat reservation in totality has prakash jha dealt with reservation which was and is going on for thousands of years if not .. then he is distorting facts and trying to show one face of the coin instead of both .. Reservation prior to independence is as imp as reservation after independence....

British started to rule India with the all the administrative staff from England. In 1859 Brahmins demanded posts in administrative staff, for which they demanded educational facility also. Thus Brahmins of PUNE- Maharashtra is the first community who got the benefit of RESERVATION in India. Then Mahatma Jotirao Phule, the father of SOCIAL REVOLUTION (As referred by Dr. Ambedkar) of India demanded caste wise REPRESENTATION and SHARE in employment. Phule commented on the prevailing structure of the administration by saying that, SATTA TUZI RANIBAI, JIKADE TIKADE BRAHMANSHAHI. (Under the rule of QUEEN, every where there is BRAHMIN RULE) He demanded social justice saying, JAT-JATICHYA SANKHYE PRAMANE, KAME NEMA TI; KHARI HI NYAYACHI RITI. (Employment proportionate to Caste, there TRUE JUSTICE prevails) Mahatma Phule (Mali-OBC) is pioneer of CASTE WISE SHARE/REPRESENTATION MOVEMENT in India.

what an irony the people who enjoyed reservation for thousands of years ae now against it... They even enjoyed reservation to serve God... but now cant bear resevation for last 60 odd years.. This is hypocracy at its heights..
