kuruba sene vision

VISION OF KURUBA SENE

Vision : Prior to independence India was ruled by Kuruba/Dhangars, nayakas , yadhavas and other communities. So it was these communities who fought the british. But the affluential congress hijacked the freedom movement with tactical support from the British. Slowly these communities which once ruled India were pushed in obvillion. Hence most of these communities and Kuruba in particular remained backward since they did not share power for centuries.

The Kurubas who were rulers of erstwhile India like Maurya, Hoysala, Pallava, vijayanagar empire and Holkars, are now almost eliminated from the polity of India. In existing parliament which is the supreme house of India, there are only 2 MPs from kuruba Community. So far no president, no PM, no Central Minister, no Governor, no CM, no Chief Justice, no Secretary, no Speaker, from 110 million plus Kuruba community in so called DEMORATIC, REPUBLIC INDIA..

In Loksabha Election 2009 population of 11 crore plus of Kurubas/Dhangars got only 36 candidatures from all over India. Kurubas were rulers. Kurubas have their own identity with culture, belief and god. But today Kuruba community is identified as MOST BACKWARD community. Kuruba’s are pushed backward educationally, professionally, economically and socially. And ROOT CAUSE of all this kind of BACKWARDNESS is in POLITICALLY DEPRIVEDNESS. Kurubas of India in general is aware and worried about educational, professional, economical BACWARDNESS but not conscious and worried about POLITICAL BACKWARDNESS. And ROOT CAUSE of all kind of BACKWARDNESS is in POLITICALLY DEPRIVEDNESS. History of the world belongs to the communities, those who have political power. Due to the lack of political consciousness many communities have vanished from the world. Kurubas of India will be vanished if they do not realize and act upon it in time. So Kurubas should worry for, the political deprived ness most and should move fast, towards the political power. When Kurubas having glorious HISTORY and sizable population are on the way of vanishing from the GEOGRAPHY due to political deprived ness, then (comparing to Kurubas) what can be future of other smaller politically and otherwise deprived communities in India? Hence all these communities backward communities, Dalits and Minotities should come together to become a force in national and regional politics.

Kurubas is the largest community spread all over India. Kurubas are known for brotherhood ness within the community and beyond the community. Kurubas have political legacy throughout India. Kurubas have all natural resources for being BASE and FORCE to build the political outfit that brings all communities that are being deprived to gether to get ourselves political empowerment which will lead to social, educational, economic empowerment of Kurubas and allied groups.

In Karnataka and Andhrapradesh Kurubas has a population of nearly 1.6 crores.i.e 80 lakhs each in each state (un official estimate) which is nearly 12% of the population of Karnataka and around 10% (kuruva , kuruma) in Andhrapradesh.. In Karnataka since we constitute around 10-12% of the population we should have had atleast 28 MLA and atleast 3 MPs but we had only 6 (down from 14) and 1 MP (down from 2) in the present assembly and parliament. If this is the case with assembly and parliament, I am sure it will not be very different at Village panchyat, Taluk panchyat, Zilla panchyat , Municipality and corporations. Hence the need for our community “kuruba” to be politically enlightened and be united and work closely with like minded communities and “AHINDA’. Tactical voting is the key. This concept of Tactical voting is about voting for people, communities, parties which help or vote for our community. Once we implement the concept of Tactical voting Kurubas leaders will get elected across the political spectrum right form assembly/parliament to village panchyat proportionate to our population and other like minded, kuruba friendly Ahinda groups also will get elected paving way for a government which will work for Kuruba upliftment and Ahinda upliftment in general.

Kuruba – Sene will be the guiding force across Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh in making this a reality. We will work constituency wise to recruit members from Kuruba community and Ahinda groups, Bring in synergy among Kurubas and Ahinda groups, Create a website which will bring together all Kurubas across the world on one platform in our Endeavour to Bring a “Chief Minister who is proud to be a KURUBA”. Kuruba sene will not only work macro on assembly and parliament but also micro at Village panchayat,Taluk/zilla panchayat, councilor and corporator level also so that political empowerment of kurubas takes place at all levels. Kuruba-Sene will develop Kuruba leadership which is politically mature, sensitive to other communities, progressive in nature and a leadership for whom Kuruba upliftment is supreme political goal.

To sum up Kuruba sene’s vision is :--

To work towards Making “ A Chief Minister who is proud to be a KURUBA”

To work with likeminded Ahinda groups to bring in a Kuruba friendly government

To educate Tactical voting among Kurubas and Ahinda groups for political empowerment for the deprived.

To create a Kuruba Database constituency wise which will help our people to win elections right from parliament/assembly to village panchayat.

To create a cadre in Andhra pradesh to be a pressure group for our brothers across.

To also work closely with Kuruba/dhangar/kuruva/kuruma/shepherd community groups across india and help integrate all our community friends to create a united voice which will and has to be heard in the Supreme house of India i.e The indian parliament..

co-initiating, co-sensing, co-inspiring, co-creating, and co-evolving are going to be the principles of Kuruba Sene... request all senites to co-involve in all activities of Sene.. Kuruba Sene isInclusive in character....

Kuruba sene will develop second level leadership across karantaka who are We-centric (community centric) and not i-centric.. and all these leaders will be matured enough to take other Ahinda communities ..
